Photo Albums

With the reference to long-ago request of Accibas to write down about my Photo Albums, I finally decided to do this post. It took me long, as the procedure is enough long and to describe everything in details would take me long.

Story
I decided to print Photo Albums time ago.
First I was dreaming of printing all my pictures in normal format like 10x15 cm and insert them all in the same albums.
But once I just realized - why should I print all in pictures if I can already print PhotoAlbums? Yes, it could take more time for preparation (and it really do), but as a result I would have almost eternal best quality Photo Albums, which are great quality, great pictures, easy in use, almost undestroiable...
And here it began all.
I was looking for websites and programs and all kind of possible applications which will be able to create something which I will be satisfied with. It was difficult. It took time.
While searching for the best option to use, I was choosing from thousands of pictures which I have the best ones. THIS was the most difficult and the longest process from all.
Having thousands thousand of pictures, in order to choose the best ones, I was crying, I was not sleeping, I was getting tired, nevous, emotional by reviewing all pictures from such great moments of my life!
It was however easier, as all my pictures from the begining were already very good organized and it was neede just to choose the best ones.
The full process took me like 1 year. Little by little, time after time, weekends, some free evenings, some free time at work.
Now, from the moemnt I have new pictures, Im choosing STRAIGHT the next day the best pictures and save them all in special folder "For Albums". As to choose pictures straight is much easier then after that tons.

Within the time I found the best website "Quality-price" for ordering my Photo Albums. By seeing already some real results of their work, I didnt have ay doubts by using their services.

Taking into account that it takes a loooot of time by creating 1 Photo Album, I could not make more then 8 at once.
And few PhotoMags which were for free, which I made especieally for New Year celebrations, because as usually there are not so many pictures form 1 night of New Year.

Process
So, lets discuss about the Process. It is long. It really takes all your time.

I will try briefly to tell you all the process which I follow by ordering Photo Albums from A to Z.

- I have all choosen pictures stored in a specific folder
- I already made my mind HOW Im gonna arange them, knowing that 1 PhotoAlbum can contain about 180-200 pictures for the best result

Note: I decided that all my albums will be the same size and type in order to have them beautifully organized.

- choosing my album format Prestige Squadrato Grand 30x30 (or other name Jumbo Square 30x30) - all details about the album you can find on website, so I will skip this part

- Im always adding Glossy type which is about 7 euro per album (but in this case Albums will be shiny and more resistant)



 - choosing design/Theme of the album (as usually its Wedding and love - and then purple theme)

- then I begin to choose which pictures to include int he album by celecting folders where I already saved choosen pictures

- arranging them by date

- then adding all selected pictures AUTOMATICALLY (as to arrange them manually would kill me)

 
- the next step is to choose how many pictures I would like to have per page. I obviously choose the middle (gold) option

- waiting some time pictures to arrange as I requested

- and now verifying and arranging a little bit as I would prefer to (as usually here are just some details like adding text, changing pictures locations, applying some templates)

 

- time after time I can verify the general overview of the album

- and at the end the final result (every time, during all mmy steps, I can see the final price of the album without shipping, which is very useful)

Thi program of creating albums is maybe the best one in the world. Website is internationally working. And no - they didnt pay me for advertising them, but they are really good. Maybe the unique minus - is inscreasing prices on the website very often. 1 year ago Grand Square 30x30 album costed juts 17 euro, and today it already costs 40 euro.

However, another advantage is that you can upload all your projects on the website when you have time, and after that, in the moment of discounts or some website offers - you can just place order of already existing created project in the past. This is an absolute advantage, because to create 1 album it takes about 2 hours, and sometimes you just fisically will not be able to order more then 5 at once.

For each album saved on website you have different options like changing the format, type or delete it, which makes it very comfortable to work with it.

I hope that once I will be able to collect all Photo Albums from all my electronic pictures, which I however almost never review (even by creating my blog, it is very rare when I enter there with the goal to see pictures).
